BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #2
The Business Improvement District #2 was established for the improvement of pubic facilities and activities in the Central Business District (downtown). Board members are appointed by the City Council to make recommendations on the use of the funds. All expenditures must be approved by the City Council. The goal of this Board is to assist with the implementation of the Downtown Streetscape Plan.
The Business Improvement District #2 has one vacancy due to term expiration. The three-year term expires in 2025. Expression of Interest Forms are due by Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 12PM. It is anticipated that the City Council will make appointments at their June 6, 2022 meeting.
ELIGIBILITY
To serve on any City board or commission, you must be a resident of Vermillion. If you are interested in serving please complete an Expression of Interest form that can be submitted via the City’s website.
