Census Bureau: More women than men in North Sioux in 2019

Of the 2,837 people living in North Sioux in 2019, 56.4 percent (1,599) were women and 43.6 percent (1,238) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Southeast South Dakota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 932-to-800. In the 65 and over age range, there were 225 females and 135 males.
