Mitchell Public Library Taking Applications for Teen Advisory Board

Mitchell Public Library is taking applications for a Teen Advisory Board (TAB). TAB is for teens 13-18 who want to help improve library services for teens, help library staff plan events, and recommend items for the library collection.

Teen Advisory Board will meet regularly for activities and discussions on making Mitchell Public Library a more teen-friendly space. A TAB applicant must be between 13-18 years of age, be passionate about library services, and be able to commit to at least one hour-long meeting a month in addition to special teen events and programs.

This is a great opportunity to make new friends, grow leadership skills, and earn community service hours.

Teens can apply in person at the library, or they can complete the application on the TAB webpage.
