The University of South Dakota will have fireworks to celebrate the kick-off of Dakota Days week. At their October 4, 2022 meeting, the City Council approved the permit for the show. The USD Fireworks show will take place on Monday, October 17, 2022 at approximately 7:30 pm. The fireworks will be discharged from the field north of USD’s Vucurevich Children's Center and Highway 50. The rain date for the Fireworks Show is Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
