Approximately $8,000 remains available on a first come, first served basis for Freeman businesses to make visible improvements to the exterior of their properties.
Funding for the Freeman Facelift Grant was provided courtesy of the Freeman Growth Foundation earlier this year. Successful applicants are eligible for a monetary award to cover half of the costs associated with the project. To date, funding for 13 different projects has been approved, with award amounts ranging in size from just over $600 to $10,000.
Applications are available in the development office at City Hall during business hours (M-F, 8 AM-noon & 1 PM-5 PM).
