We are pleased that so many of our Freeman residents & businesses proudly display our country's flag. We also know that the strong winds we've had recently are very hard on even the most durable, weather-resistant flags. As a matter of respect, torn or damaged flags should not be flown; they should be retired in a proper & respectful manner. Please check the condition of your flag. If it is torn or damaged, you may fold it & bring it to City Hall. Councilor Tjaden will take them to Olivet so they can be disposed of in a respectful way.
