On Monday, March 24, former Vermillion High School - 01 standout Lexi Plitzuweit’s current collegiate team the Grand Valley State Lakers won 60-32 against the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Gannon Golden Knights during the championship.

Lexi Plitzuweit’s hometown is Vermillion and game position is guard.
