MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University recently conferred 57 degrees to students graduating in December – five associate degrees, 40 bachelor’s degrees and 12 master’s degrees.
With over 30 tribal nations represented on campus, the University of South Dakota has a rich history of Native students, staff, faculty and leadership.
The foray into medical school holds different experiences and aspirations for each carefully vetted student, even though each class navigates similar academic challenges.

The Beacom School of Business introduced the i2i Competition in 2015 to encourage both high school and university students to explore their creativity by launching a business idea aimed at solving a problem, pushing an industry forward or creating a new market.

Contemporary perceptions of these two intertwined concepts are the focus of the Utopia/Dystopia Symposium sponsored by the University of South Dakota and held on USD’s Vermillion campus on Monday, Feb. 6 and Tuesday, Feb. 7. The event is free and open to the public.
